Our therapist have extensive experience in helping those who have been prescribed Anti-depressants and Minor Tranquillisers. Although many people manage to withdraw from anti-depressants and tranquillisers with no problems, Their are many others who experience a range of reactions. Panic, Anxiety, Low self worth, Loss of confidence, Disturbed sleep patterns, Shaking, Sweating, Lack of concentration,and much more.
 
Counselling and Hypnotherapy can help. The long term use of some prescribed drugs can result in physical as well as mental dependency. Drugs simply mask the real underlying issues that need addressing.  Counselling can help.
 
 
Withdrawal Support
Withdrawal from Anti-depressants or tranquillisers are possible, but it must be done slowly and with professional support.
Never just stop taking your medication. Begin discussing withdrawal with your family, friends, and your GP.
 
Coming off means being prepared to change your routine, and a reawakening of old feeling and emotions.

Supervision
This is a relationship whereby the supervisee is able to engage in a constructive discussion about the work they are doing with clients. The relationship will help you to examine your way of being with your clients. It will enable you to explore you thoughts, feelings, and any fears that may emerge in your client work. This is a supportive relationship that will support  you in finding  new ways of working and enable you to move forward within your Counselling Relationships.
